You Don’t Have to Fit In—You Were Meant to Stand Out

If you’ve ever felt like your brain is running 20 tabs at once with no ad blocker, you’re not alone. Life can feel overwhelming when anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or self-doubt take over. You might be exhausted from constantly overcompensating, feeling like you have to "mask" who you are just to get through the day.

Therapy with me isn’t about forcing yourself into a mold that doesn’t fit—it’s about learning to work with your unique mind instead of against it. My goal is to help you move from self-criticism to self-acceptance, from overwhelm to clarity. Together, we’ll create a space where you can be fully yourself—no judgment, no pressure, just real conversations and real growth.

Why Work With Me

Therapy doesn’t have to feel like a chore. I believe healing happens best in a space where you feel safe, understood, and even a little bit human. My style is warm, affirming, and interactive—no silent head-nodding, no clinical detachment, just real conversations that help you make meaningful shifts in your life.

I specialize in working with neurodivergent individuals, families, and couples navigating ADHD, Autism, OCD, trauma, and anxiety. Many of my clients are deep thinkers, perfectionists, or people-pleasers who have spent their lives trying to “fit in” but are now ready to embrace their differences as strengths.

In our work together, I’ll help you:

  • Build self-awareness and self-compassion

  • Set boundaries without guilt

  • Reduce emotional overwhelm and burnout

  • Let go of old survival patterns that no longer serve you

  • Learn to regulate your nervous system so you don’t have to be “on” all the time

You don’t have to go through this alone. With the right support, change is possible.

My Therapy Approach

Therapy should feel like it’s working for you, not the other way around. That’s why I take an integrative approach—Practical, Engaging, and Personalized—tailoring each session to your unique needs rather than following a rigid formula. Some days, that means doing deep emotional work; other days, it’s about building practical strategies for navigating daily life.

Here’s how I approach therapy:

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) to help you understand and heal different parts of yourself.

  • Polyvagal Theory to regulate your nervous system and manage emotions.

  • CBT & I-CBT to reframe unhelpful thoughts and break cycles of anxiety.

  • Attachment-Focused Therapy to explore how early relationships shape emotional patterns.

  • Trauma-Informed, Strengths-Based Therapy to shift focus from struggles to resilience.

For kids and teens, I use play-based techniques to make therapy engaging and accessible. Whether you're processing emotions or learning new coping skills, we’ll find what works best for you.

Addressing Common Concerns

Therapy can feel like a big step—especially when your mind already feels like it’s juggling a dozen open tabs at once. If you often feel mentally overwhelmed, emotionally drained, or stuck in unhelpful patterns, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.

Many of the individuals I work with struggle with:

  • ADHD, anxiety, and chronic overthinking

  • Burnout and emotional exhaustion from overcompensating

  • Feeling stuck in self-doubt, perfectionism, or people-pleasing

  • Avoiding emotions or shutting down under stress

  • Processing how childhood experiences shaped adult relationships

  • Navigating life as a neurodivergent person in a world that hasn’t always fit

  • Parenting stress, relational tension, and challenges in couples dynamics

  • Wanting to stop “fitting in” and start feeling confident in being different

Therapy can be a place to untangle those internal knots, reconnect with your strengths, and learn how to move through life with more clarity and compassion for yourself. It’s okay if you don’t have all the words right away—showing up is a powerful first step.

A Bit About Me

Outside of therapy, I love spending time with my miniature Aussiedoodle Millie, and my kitten, Leona—both full of energy and personality. I’m always up for something fun, whether it’s playing video games, exploring new experiences, or going on spontaneous adventures.

I’m also drawn to holistic wellness and finding balance in everyday life. Whether it’s mindfulness, energy work, or simply making space for small moments of peace, I believe in approaching life with curiosity and openness.

Let’s Work Together

Therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating—it can be a powerful, validating experience. If you're ready to understand yourself on a deeper level and make meaningful changes, I’m here to help.

Let’s work together to help you embrace who you truly are.
