Our Story
How We Started
Omni Mental Health was founded by passionate DBT therapists who wanted to better serve individuals facing barriers to accessing mental health care—particularly women residing in supportive and transitional housing in downtown St. Paul. What started as a small DBT program within those communities grew over time into expanded services and clinics in Roseville, Blaine, and Rochester.
Since 2014, our mission has remained the same.
At Omni Mental Health, we believe true healing begins when we honor the whole person and the experiences that shape them. We strive to make care accessible to all, especially those facing the greatest barriers, while fostering an environment where our providers can thrive.
Meet the Founder: Jennifer Pinion, MA, LMFT
Founder & Clinical Director
I'm a licensed therapist and the founder of Omni Mental Health, a practice I started because I know how hard it can be to find the right support. We're all unique, complex people, and I wanted to create a place where that’s not only understood—but embraced. My goal with Omni is to offer a team of therapists from diverse backgrounds and specialties, so every person who walks through our doors can find someone who truly fits their needs.
Before founding Omni, I worked in a variety of clinical settings—from traditional outpatient clinics to in-home therapy and educational environments. I’ve been involved in developing two DBT programs, and over the years, I’ve had the privilege of mentoring dozens of pre-licensed therapists. Supporting other clinicians and helping them grow has become one of the most rewarding parts of my work.
At Omni, I encourage our team to look at the whole picture when a client comes in—not just symptoms or labels, but the full human experience. Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and I want people to feel at home here. You deserve to be seen, heard, and supported exactly as you are.
