Helping You Navigate Life’s Changes with Compassion, Confidence, and Hope.

Trying to manage anxiety, perfectionism, major life changes, or feelings of disconnection can make it difficult to feel grounded and confident in your next steps. Whether you’re struggling to balance responsibilities, reconnect with your community, or adjust to a new stage of life, it can be hard to know where to begin.

I’m Rachael Hartley, a practicum intern at Omni Mental Health. I work with adults, families, and couples to create a supportive, judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My goal is to help clients build confidence, strengthen hope for the future, and develop healthier ways to navigate life’s challenges with compassion and support.

Why Work With Me

I believe therapy works best when clients feel safe enough to show up exactly as they are. I strive to create a calm, supportive environment where you can openly explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences without fear of judgment. Clients often appreciate my ability to listen closely, offer a steady and compassionate presence, and help them look at challenges from a new perspective.

My background working in inpatient mental health has also given me experience supporting individuals during some of their most difficult moments. I understand how overwhelming life can feel at times, and I’m passionate about helping clients build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and reconnect with hope for the future.

My Therapy Approach

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and centered around creating a space where you feel genuinely heard and understood. I primarily utilize person-centered therapy, CBT, and positive psychology techniques to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, and patterns while building practical tools for growth and healing.

I believe therapy should feel supportive, not overwhelming. Together, we’ll work to identify meaningful goals, strengthen confidence, and develop healthier ways to navigate challenges both in and outside of session. I strive to meet each client where they are, recognizing that every person’s experiences, identity, and path forward are unique.

Addressing Common Concerns

Starting therapy can feel intimidating, especially if you’re unsure where to begin or worried about being judged. Many clients come into therapy feeling pressure to “have it all figured out,” while others may struggle to open up, slow down, or prioritize themselves. My goal is to create a welcoming and supportive environment where you can move at your own pace and feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self.

You do not need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Whether you’re navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, relationship challenges, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide space to better understand yourself, build healthier patterns, and create meaningful change over time.

A Bit About Me

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my Labrador, reading, and learning new languages. I’m fluent in Spanish and currently learning Farsi, which reflects my passion for connecting with people from different backgrounds and experiences. I also value community, curiosity, and personal growth, and I strive to bring those same qualities into the work I do with clients each day.

Let’s Work Together

Reaching out for support is an important step, and you don’t have to navigate life’s challenges alone. Whether you’re working through anxiety, adjusting to a major life transition, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or simply looking for a space to grow, I would be honored to support you in that process.

My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward meaningful and lasting change. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your journey toward healing, confidence, and hope for the future.
