Helping Teens, Families, and Young Adults Grow Through Life’s Challenges
Life can feel overwhelming when emotions are hard to manage, family relationships feel stressful, or you’re struggling to figure out your next steps. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, self-esteem challenges, behavioral concerns, family conflict, addiction concerns, or major life changes, it can be hard to know where to start.
I’m Gabby Gullickson, a practicum intern at Omni Mental Health. I work with teens, young adults, children, and families to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and build confidence through life’s challenges. My goal is to create a supportive and honest space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to make meaningful changes in your life.
Why Work With Me
I believe therapy works best when you feel safe enough to be honest about both your struggles and your successes. I bring a warm, supportive, and direct approach to sessions—creating a space where you can feel heard, understood, and challenged in ways that help you grow.
I help clients recognize patterns that may be keeping them stuck while building practical skills to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and navigate difficult situations with more confidence. Whether you’re working through family conflict, emotional challenges, or addiction concerns, I’m here to support you with honesty, compassion, and real-life tools that create lasting change.
My Therapy Approach
I believe therapy should be personalized because every person and family has different needs, experiences, and goals. I use an integrative approach that allows me to tailor therapy to what works best for you. This may include building coping skills through CBT and DBT, exploring values through ACT, focusing on strengths through solution-focused therapy, or improving family relationships through systems-based approaches.
When working with children, I may also incorporate play-based techniques to support emotional expression and growth. No matter your concerns, I strive to create a supportive space where you feel safe to be honest, build new skills, and make meaningful progress at your own pace.
Addressing Common Concerns
Starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, especially if you’re unsure where to begin or worried about being judged. Many clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure if things can actually get better—and that’s okay. You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out for support.
My role is to meet you where you are and help you take things one step at a time. Whether you’re a teen feeling misunderstood, a young adult trying to manage life’s stressors, or a family working through conflict, therapy can provide support, new perspectives, and practical tools to help things feel more manageable. Growth doesn’t happen overnight, but you don’t have to work through it alone.
A Bit About Me
Outside of therapy, I love staying active, trying new things, and spending time with the people I care about most. You’ll often find me golfing, working on jigsaw puzzles, exploring nature trails, cooking or baking, or spending time with my cat, Lily. These activities help me slow down, stay grounded, and create meaningful connections in my own life—something I also encourage my clients to prioritize as they work toward living more authentically.
Let’s Work Together
Whether you’re working through relationship challenges, family conflict, emotional stress, or major life changes, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I’m here to help you build healthier relationships, stronger coping skills, and greater confidence as you move through life’s challenges.
My goal is to help you feel supported while creating meaningful changes that positively impact your daily life and relationships. Together, we can create a path forward that feels authentic to you and the life you want to build.
I look forward to supporting you on your journey toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
