Finding Clarity in the Middle of Chaos
If life has you feeling stuck, disconnected, or like you’re carrying more than your share of emotional weight, you’re not alone. Whether you're navigating past trauma, struggling with identity, or facing daily stress that seems to chip away at your sense of self, it makes sense that you're seeking a different way forward.
I’m Raishma Majeed, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor based in Blaine, Minnesota. I work with adults who are ready to dig into the patterns holding them back, learn real tools to support change, and finally feel seen in the therapy space. My clients often tell me they walk away from sessions with more than just a sense of relief they leave with insight, clarity, and strategies they can use in real life.
Why Work With Me
Clients often tell me that therapy with me feels different, not just because of the tools we use, but because of the connection we build. I show up as a real person in the room: someone who listens deeply, brings in curiosity and humor, and isn’t afraid to gently challenge when it’s helpful.
I value authenticity, and I work hard to create a space where you don’t have to filter who you are. My goal is for you to feel seen even in the parts of yourself that feel messy or hard to name.
I also use assessments and progress tools to track how therapy works for you, so we’re not guessing we’re growing with intention.
My Approach to Therapy
I blend warmth with structure, offering support that’s both compassionate and actionable. Using EMDR, DBT, and the Anchored Relational Model (formally AIR Network), I help clients understand their experiences and build real tools for change.
A typical session includes psychoeducation to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, followed by practical guidance on how to manage it. You'll also get validation, a dose of humor, skills coaching, and hands-on tools you can use between sessions.
These approaches work together to reduce symptoms, increase insight, and support meaningful healing all at a pace that feels right for you.
Addressing Common Concerns:
I help adults who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck make sense of their experiences and move toward lasting change. Some of the common issues I support clients with include:
Processing complex and early-life trauma
Managing dissociation and emotional overwhelm
Navigating anxiety, depression, and life transitions
Coping with perfectionism and internal pressure
Exploring identity as LGBTQIA, neurodivergent, or multicultural
Healing from past experiences that still impact current relationships
Together, we’ll identify what’s getting in the way and develop tools that help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control.
A Bit About Me
As a queer, biracial woman raised in a multicultural household, I understand what it’s like to move between worlds and question where you truly belong. That personal lens shapes how I show up as a therapist — with curiosity, openness, and a deep respect for your lived experience.
Outside of therapy, I’m usually with my cats, listening to music, or traveling to see live shows. I’m also a fan of quiet weekends spent in nature or getting lost in a craft project — my current favorite is cross-stitching. Like many of my clients, I’m always working on growth and self-understanding, too.
