Finding Your Way Forward
Sometimes life takes us to unexpected places—grief, addiction, burnout, emotional abuse—and the road forward isn’t always clear. I’m here to walk alongside you through that uncertainty.
My name is Warren Fritze, and I’ve been a therapist for over 25 years. I work with individuals ages 18 and up who are navigating pain, healing, or just trying to figure out who they are and what matters to them. If you're searching for a space where you can speak freely, be challenged gently, and feel heard, you're in the right place.
Why Work With Me?
Therapy with me isn’t about checking boxes or fitting you into a mold. It’s about meeting you exactly where you are—with your pain, your history, your values—and figuring out where you want to go from there.
Over the years, I’ve supported people working through grief, addiction, emotional abuse, gaslighting, and major life transitions. These are tough, often isolating experiences—and it helps to have someone beside you who gets that. My approach is deeply human: honest, non-judgmental, curious, and focused on helping you reconnect with what truly matters to you.
My Approach to Therapy
I believe therapy should be dynamic, personal, and real. When you and I sit down—whether virtually or in person—we’ll have honest conversations that support your growth. Here’s what you can expect:
Real conversations about what’s working—and what isn’t
Honest questions that invite deeper reflection
A focus on values and how to live in alignment with them
Customized sessions, because no one-size-fits-all in therapy
I draw from several evidence-based approaches, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Helps shift unhelpful thought patterns
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Builds acceptance and values-based action
Existential Therapy – Explores purpose, meaning, and personal responsibility
Positive Psychology – Highlights strengths and what brings life fulfillment
This mix helps us balance practical tools with the deeper emotional and personal work that real growth requires.
Common Concerns I Can Help With
Life doesn’t come with a roadmap, and sometimes it’s hard to make sense of what you’re going through. If you’re feeling stuck, disconnected, or overwhelmed, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out alone, either.
Some of the challenges I commonly work with include:
Grief and loss
Addiction and recovery support
Emotional abuse and gaslighting recovery
Life transitions and uncertainty
Communication struggles
Men’s issues
Reconnecting with core values and life direction
These experiences can shake your sense of self and leave you feeling uncertain. Therapy gives you space to rebuild clarity, confidence, and connection—on your terms.
A Bit About Me
I’m not someone who likes to put on a show—I value honesty, curiosity, and staying grounded. When I’m not in session, you might find me reading fantasy novels, riding my motorcycle, hiking a quiet trail, or testing out a new chili recipe. I also teach a journaling class and enjoy diving into philosophy when the mood strikes. I tend to get along well with “addicts” and “geeks” and bring some of that irreverent flavor to the therapy room.
I believe that life experience matters just as much as formal training—and after more than five decades on this planet, I’ve seen the highs, the lows, and the messy middle. That perspective shapes how I show up in the therapy room: as someone real, present, and always open to growth—yours and mine.
Let’s Work Together
Taking the first step into therapy can feel uncertain, but it doesn’t have to be overwhelming. If you're curious about working together—or if something in this page resonated with you—reach out.
Whether you’re navigating a tough season, untangling past pain, or just looking for a space to talk things through, I’m here to help you make sense of it all. Therapy is a place to be seen, to grow, and to get real about what you want for your life.
